Buyer decision support

OS-1011 oscillating saw procurement decision notes

The OS-1011 is the cordless oscillating saw in the HQS battery-powered orthopaedic drill and saw range. The handpiece works at 14.4 V with a saw output power of 95 W, an oscillation frequency of 0–18,000 per minute, noise of 75 dB or less and a unit temperature rise of 20 °C or less. Batteries are 14.4 V and take about 3 hours to charge; the charger runs on AC 220 V, 50 Hz at 30 VA and delivers 14.4 V, 900 mA. The handpiece skin is sealed and the saw can be autoclaved at up to 135 °C and 1.6 MPa, with a listed sterilisation time of 20 minutes; the charger is not sterilised. The standard configuration is one saw unit, one charger, two batteries, two aseptic battery transfer rings, two saw blades, an instruction manual and an aluminium case. The RD-4011 reamer drill, CD-2011 cannulated drill and BD-1011 drill and saw use the same 14.4 V battery and charger specification. If you want one handpiece for sawing and drilling, compare the H-DS1 multifunctional system, which has an oscillating saw attachment.
