Buyer decision support
The YD01AE and YD01AI are compact cold-light LED lamps with the same published optics and power data: at least 25,000 lux, 4800 ± 500 K colour temperature, Ra 93, 3.2 V / 1 W LED bulbs with a bulb life of at least 30,000 h, 56 VA input power and a 220 V / 50 Hz supply. The difference is backup power. The YD01AE is the AC/DC emergency version: it has an emergency power backup that keeps the lamp lit during a mains power failure, so procedures can continue where the supply is unreliable or unavailable. The YD01AI is listed as auxiliary light for examinations of the ears, nose, oral cavity, urinary system and reproductive tract. Choose the YD01AE if the lamp must keep working through power cuts, and the YD01AI for examination lighting where mains power is reliable.
