HQS lists three filter-based ELISA microplate readers. The HE-800 is the laboratory unit with the widest range: filter selection from 340 to 850 nm on an 8-position filter wheel (405, 450 and 620 nm installed), 96-well and 384-well plates, a 0–6 Abs read-out range, linear shaking in three modes, an optional incubator from ambient +4 °C up to 50 °C, a 7-inch colour touch screen, USB ports for data transfer and printer, 400 × 290 × 220 mm and a 100–240 V adapter. The HE-201 and HE-202 read 96-well plates only, with an 8-channel optical system, 405, 450, 492 and 630 nm filters plus 4 positions for more, end-point, kinetic and multi-wave modes, adjustable plate shaking, storage for 1,000 test items and 1,000,000 results, Westgard multi-rule QC and RS-232 and USB. The HE-201 has a built-in computer with a 10.4-inch colour touch LCD and an LED light source; the HE-202 uses an external computer and screen and a 12 V / 20 W tungsten halogen lamp. Choose the HE-800 for 384-well plates, wavelengths outside the standard four or incubation; choose the HE-201 or HE-202 for 96-well routine work with large on-board result storage.
