HQS lists three ceiling-mounted halogen operating lamps that use multiple light sources with a focusing knob to reduce shadows from the surgeon's head and hands. They differ in output: the OL-1205L lists at least 160,000 lx with a 425 W bulb load and 500 VA input; the OL-12L at least 120,000 lx at 1 m, 300 W and 350 VA; and the OL-09L at least 90,000 lx at 1 m, 225 W and 280 VA. All list 4000 K ± 500 K colour temperature, colour rendering of Ra 85–100, a light beam depth of at least 500 mm, 24 V AC bulbs on AC 220 V ± 10%, 50 Hz mains, and installation height of 280–320 cm. The OL-1205L lamp holder carries two bulbs and switches to the standby bulb within half a second if the main bulb fails.
