The SL - 5DI Slit Lamp features a Galilean optical system for unparalleled depth of field viewing. It offers convenient five-step magnification changes via drum rotation. The bulb and optical lens are imported from Germany, with all lenses being multi-coated, mildewproof, and anti-reflection. All adaptors are universal.

The SL-5DI is the five-step table slit lamp in the HQS SL-5 series supplied with imaging parts: its standard configuration lists the 5D slit lamp, a beam splitter and adapter, and a camera. It shares the SL-5D optics: a Galilean parallel stereoscope with drum-rotation five-step magnification (6×, 10×, 16×, 25× and 40× with a 12.5× eyepiece), 55–75 mm pupil distance, −5 D to +5 D diopter adjustment, a 0–180° slit angle, 5°, 10°, 15° and 20° slit inclination, heat-absorption, grey, red-free and cobalt-blue filters, multi-coated anti-reflection lenses, universal adaptors, a 12 V / 50 W halogen bulb, 60 VA (SL-5D, SL-5E and SL-5P 80 VA) and AC 220 V 50 Hz or AC 110 V 60 Hz; slit width and height come in a 0–9 mm / 1–9 mm or 0–14 mm / 1–14 mm version. The SL-5DII adds a computer and software to the same imaging set. The SL-5D is the base five-step lamp, with the beam splitter, CCD and camera adaptors, applanation tonometer, footswitch, lecture scope and elevating table as options. The SL-5E (three steps, 10×, 16×, 25×, 10× eyepiece, −8 D to +8 D, red LED fixation lamp) and SL-5P (two steps, 10× and 16×, ±5 D) use a converging stereoscope with a 0–9 mm slit. Choose the SL-5DI if you want to record images with your own computer, the SL-5DII for a complete imaging workstation, the SL-5D to add imaging later, and the SL-5E or SL-5P when 25× or 16× is enough.
