The REC-4000 is the HQS rigid laparoscopy system for minimally invasive veterinary surgery. Its core is a Full HD 1080P video processor and LED cold light source in one unit: 100 W white LED, illuminance of at least 3,000,000 lux, colour temperature of at least 5700 K, CVBS, HD-SDI, VGA, DVI-D and HDMI outputs, 0–100 brightness grades, one-click white balance and image freeze, all set on a 5-inch colour touch panel. Around it the system lists an electrosurgical unit (CUT 400 W, bipolar 70 W, 360–512 kHz, Class I Type BF), a CO2 insufflator (0.67–3.30 kPa, 1–30 L/min), a suction pump (10–50 kPa positive, −50 to −10 kPa negative), an irrigation pump (15–400 mmHg, 0.1–1.0 L/min), a 24-inch 1920 × 1200 monitor and a 500 × 700 × 1350 mm equipment cart. For reprocessing it lists an autoclave with a Φ400 × 625 mm chamber and a scope storage cabinet with 5/6 layers, UV and ozone disinfection and air drying. The laparoscopy set has a 10 mm 0° laparoscope, a Φ4 × 2500 mm light guide, an insufflation needle, Φ5 × 330 mm hand instruments, trocars, sealing caps and titanium clips, and a longer list of instruments is available as options.
