The HC-3002B1 is a benchtop photometric chemistry analyzer for veterinary laboratories. It reads in kinetic, end point, two point and absorbance modes through seven standard filters (340, 405, 492, 510, 546, 578 and 630 nm) plus one free position, with ±2 nm wavelength precision and ≤10 nm bandwidth, an absorbance range of 0–4.500 Abs, carry-over under 1% and repeatability CV under 1%. It works in flow cell (32 µL quartz glass, 10 mm) or cuvette mode, has 10 incubators at 37, 30 or 25 °C (±0.1 °C) and three timers, 80 pre-programmed test items, a sample volume of 0–3000 µL (≥500 µL recommended), storage for at least 10,000 results, X-bar, SD, CV% and L-J quality-control curves, a 7-inch colour touch screen, a built-in thermal printer and an RS-232 port. The HC-120VP is the other HQS option: a POCT analyzer that takes 90–120 µL of whole blood, serum or plasma in a barcoded rotor and gives results in 12 minutes. Choose the HC-3002B1 when you want a wide pre-programmed test menu and quality-control curves on a benchtop photometer; choose the HC-120VP for rapid in-clinic panels from a small sample.
