The Capno-T is the smallest HQS capnograph: an 80 g unit (with lithium battery and adult adapter) of 38 × 42 × 44 mm that is ready to use when switched on, with no calibration. The first EtCO₂ value appears in 5 seconds and accurate readings in 15 seconds, EtCO₂ updates every breath, and automatic atmospheric pressure compensation keeps readings accurate at different altitudes. It measures CO₂ from 0 to 150 mmHg (units mmHg, kPa or %), with accuracy of ±2 mmHg from 0–40 mmHg, ±5% from 41–70 mmHg, ±8% from 71–100 mmHg and ±10% from 100–150 mmHg, and respiration rate from 3 to 150 per minute. Visual and audible alarms cover check adapter, no adapter, apnea, low battery and EtCO₂/RR outside the set limits, with a 24-hour trend. A 1.5-inch colour TFT display is readable from more than 5 m. The rechargeable 3.7 V / 1.35 Ah lithium battery runs 6–8 hours; AC charging is 220 V, 50 Hz, ≤10 VA. Choose it when the capnograph should sit on the airway with nothing else in the way; if you want a larger 2.8-inch screen in a handheld unit, compare the Capno-H.
