Buyer decision support

H-A70 turbine-driven anaesthesia machine procurement decision notes

The H-A70 is the compact HQS veterinary anaesthesia workstation with a built-in turbine-driven ventilator, listed for animals from 0.5 to 150 kg. The ventilator is turbine driven (listed as oxygen saving); tidal volume is set from 5 to 1500 ml (accuracy ±4 ml or 10%, whichever is larger), with inspiratory pressure 5–50 cmH2O, pressure support 3–50 cmH2O, PEEP off or 3–30 cmH2O, 2–60 bpm, I:E 4:1 to 1:8 and inspiratory time 0.2–10 s. It has a 10.1-inch 1280 × 800 capacitive touch screen showing several waveforms and six parameters, runs on 100–240 V 50/60 Hz with a 14.8 V 5000 mAh lithium battery for at least 120 minutes, and has two AC outputs for other devices. Bellows and breathing circuit are built in; the absorber holds 1400 ml, the APL valve adjusts 0–70 cmH2O and the ACGO port allows non-rebreathing circuits. The unit with stand and vaporizer weighs about 28 kg. Compared with the H-A30, it adds the ventilator, battery and screen on the same 0.5–150 kg platform.
