The H1200-1 is the HQS veterinary anesthesia machine for animals of 0.5–100 kg, from laboratory mice to dogs, cats, rabbits, monkeys, pigs and sheep. It works in closed, semi-closed and semi-open modes with tidal volumes of 10–2000 ml, a flowmeter range of 0–4 L/min and an oxygen flush of 35–75 L/min, on an oxygen supply of 0.25–0.65 MPa. One vaporizer is included, chosen for isoflurane, sevoflurane or halothane. The pop-off valve sends waste gas to a scavenging system and, fully open, releases pressure at 2 cmH2O. Inspiratory and expiratory resistance are each ≤0.6 kPa, the absorber holds 700 ml, and airway pressure and gas source pressure are monitored. The standard package includes the main unit, the vaporizer, a veterinary breathing circuit, gas source hose, waste gas absorption system, corrugated tubing and a test lung. A ventilator is not built in: the V-60V (pneumatically driven, LCD display) or the V-80V (9-inch touch screen, VCV, PCV, SPONT and manual modes, PEEP) can be added, and the trolley is optional.
