The HM-3T is a handheld veterinary vital signs monitor measuring SpO2, NIBP and temperature, for big and small animals. It has a 3.5-inch 320 × 480 colour TFT screen showing one plethysmogram trace, measures 146 × 67 × 30 mm, weighs 250 g and runs about 8 hours on its lithium-ion battery; a charging dock is optional. NIBP covers systolic 40–270 mmHg in big animals and 40–200 mmHg in small animals with ±3 mmHg accuracy and pulse rate 40–240 bpm, with software over-pressure protection at 300 mmHg and hardware protection at 320–330 mmHg. SpO2 measures 0–100% (accuracy defined for 70–100%), pulse rate 0–500 bpm and perfusion index 0.05–20%. Temperature reads 25–45 °C with 0.1 °C resolution. It works in spot mode (100 user IDs, 200 data sets each) or monitoring mode (48 hours of continuous recording), with trend and history views and adjustable audible and visual alarm limits.
